Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a modern Secondary School in Mountain Ash. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the Class Teacher to ensure high standards of teaching and support students with general school tasks, including interventions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students 1-2-1 with general school tasks and interventions
  • Work alongside the Class Teacher to ensure high standards of teaching
  • Help students develop and improve skills and talents

Requirements:

  • Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification and/or at least 6 months classroom experience
  • ALN experience and/or 1-2-1 experience
  • Good behavioural and classroom management skills
