Responsibilities:

  • Set up and manage CNC lathe machines to manufacture small precision components according to detailed specifications.
  • Programming, configuring, and operating CNC lathe machinery.
  • Skilled turners with expertise in machining small components, capable of interpreting technical drawings and programming (conversational), including familiarity with DMG MORI, HURCO, and similar brands.
  • Analyze and interpret blueprints, engineering schematics, and work orders to ascertain machining requirements.
  • Choose and install suitable cutting tools, fixtures, and tooling for each task.
  • Oversee machine operations to guarantee proper functionality and implement adjustments as required.
  • Examine finished components for quality and precision, utilizing advanced measuring instruments.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on machinery and equipment to ensure peak performance.
  • Uphold a tidy and organized workspace.


Qualifications:

  • Expertise in Precision CNC Turning.
  • Proficient Programmer, Setter, and Operator.
  • Comprehensive experience with CNC Turning Machining Centers, particularly NLX models.
  • Proven track record of producing small precision components with tolerances of 0.005.

£17.40-£21.00 per hour
