We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Nurse Leader to join our Emergency Department team at Princess of Wales hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership, mentorship, and support to nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and the implementation of evidence-based practices.
Main Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff in the Emergency Department
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care
- Lead on audits and quality improvement initiatives to ensure compliance with UHB policies and clinical guidelines
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement systems and processes to monitor quality and safety
- Provide mentorship and support to nursing staff to enhance their skills and knowledge
- Extensive background in Emergency nursing with experience in managing a team
- Ability to carry out and interpret audits, and act accordingly
- Experience of change management and implementation of evidence-based practices
- Understanding of the importance of clinical governance and effective teaching/supervisory and leadership skills
