We are seeking an experienced Claims Adjuster to join our Aviation team in London. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for producing high-quality work product from initial contact through to case conclusion.
Your main focus will be to work with our Senior Claims Adjusters and Executive Claims Adjusters to contribute to the success of the team. You will be expected to proactively manage a portfolio of Aviation claims and develop strong relationships with external clients, brokers, and service providers.
Key Responsibilities:- Negotiate settlement of claims to bring them to a successful conclusion, involving brokers, policy holders, other insurers, loss adjusters, and lawyers.
- Self-manage your caseload to ensure timely settlement of files, accuracy, and timeliness, including control of vendor expenses.
- Work within the framework of Chubb's ethical and service standards, focusing on service delivery across the team for all internal/external client groups and stakeholders, and fulfill compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Act as part of a team to ensure both team and individual goals are met, and work with third-party service providers to ensure claims service standards are maintained.
- Develop and maintain client relationships and look after key accounts through providing timely and clear responses to correspondence received.
- Provide general assistance and support to senior claims adjusters, managers, and underwriters, including projects and ad-hoc tasks as they arise.
- Good standard of general education, including standard grades/GCSEs/Highers/A-Levels or equivalent in English & Mathematics. Progress towards Insurance Certification preferred.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience within the insurance industry, preferably in the Aviation sector.
- Experience of specific business line with associated protocols and a good awareness of general insurance functions.
- Customer services experience demonstrating a professional and high standard in customer care.
- Proven experience of prioritizing and working to SLAs.
- Good listening and communication skills.
- Awareness of Regulatory Compliance as it applies to the Insurance Industry.
- Experience with market systems preferred.
