About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Sanctuary Supported Living. As a Maintenance Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the upkeep and maintenance of our properties, ensuring a safe and secure environment for our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out routine maintenance tasks, including repairs and decorating
  • Identify and report potential maintenance issues to management
  • Assist in scheduled building checks and audits to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and external contractors
  • Work independently and as part of a team to achieve positive outcomes
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a maintenance or caretaker background is essential
  • Prior experience identifying and carrying out repairs is required
  • Good customer service and communication skills are essential
  • Ability to work alone and as part of a team
  • Working knowledge of UK Health and Safety legislation
