Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at Aspire Recruitment. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting job seekers to gain new skills, widen their horizons, and secure employment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work with a caseload of customers who may have multiple barriers to work, including drug/alcohol problems, ex-offender, mental health, disability, or long-term health.
- Meet with customers on a regular basis to complete in-depth diagnostics and create SMART targets to address their lack of skills or motivation.
- Ensure customers are on track to secure sustainable employment with regular, personalized interventions.
- Have previous industry experience helping job seekers, or transferable skills and a good understanding of the labor market and current challenges.
- Hold a Level 4 qualification in Careers Information Advice & Guidance, or be willing to work towards it.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work with customers who may have complex needs.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
