About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Business Partner to join our team at GB010 Marsh Corporate Services. As a Compliance Business Partner, you will play a critical role in supporting the Head of Advisory Compliance in ensuring the company's compliance with regulatory requirements and business initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Head of Advisory Compliance in coordinating regulatory requirements and business projects
- Work collaboratively across the Advisory team, contributing to Advisory projects, providing assistance/support to other team members, and proactively sharing information/learnings to benefit the wider team
- Work with the business to facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements
- Act as a trusted advisor and point of contact for any regulatory or governance queries, providing guidance and steer to the business
- Attend regular business and governance meetings and provide Compliance updates on regulatory developments, risks, and relevant topics and actions
- Provide Compliance advice and challenge to colleagues on regulatory issues and risks relating to their business or function, including the development and launch of new business models, new products, and new functional processes
- Promote an open line of communication between Compliance and the business to provide the business with updates on current Compliance initiatives and projects
- Maintain an awareness of regulatory developments and support the business in assessing impacts and provide advice on challenge and proposed implementation
Requirements:
- Experience in Compliance within the Investments industry, either with an investment advisory/consulting firm or an investment/wealth manager
- Good knowledge of investment products, especially collective vehicles
- Proven track record in building strong and constructive relationships with business leaders
- Broad and deep knowledge of the regulatory framework, including principles, rules, and guidelines
- Commercial awareness and focus on the proportionate application of regulation within the investments industry
- Strong and confident communicator (verbal and written)
- Strong organisational and time management skills
