About the Role

AWS EMEA SARL (UK Branch) is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Lead to join our team in the EMEA region. As a key member of our global team, you will be responsible for driving business development in Europe, focusing on the energy transition and renewable energy sectors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business strategies that drive revenue growth and market expansion in the EMEA region.
  • Engage with key industry customers, AWS account teams, and strategic partners to build relationships and identify new business opportunities.
  • Attend and speak at industry events to build thought leadership and establish AWS as a leader in the energy transition space.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and promote cloud solutions and patterns for the energy transition vertical.
  • Collaborate with AWS product and services teams to evolve AWS offerings for rapid adoption by new energy customers.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience in developing, negotiating, and executing business agreements.
  • Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level.
  • Experience managing programs across cross-functional teams, building processes, and coordinating release schedules.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations.
  • Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements.
