Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Associate level Solicitor with approximately 8 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) to become a part of a prestigious Tier 1 defendant professional indemnity team.
Role Focus:
This position is primarily centered around professional indemnity law. The successful candidate will represent a diverse range of professionals, predominantly including legal practitioners (both solicitors and barristers), construction experts, accountants, insurance brokers, and independent financial advisors.
Clientele:
The firm boasts a national client base, with referrals coming either at the clients' request or directly from insurers. Most clients are situated near the London office, supported by well-established regional teams. Our clientele includes a distinguished array of major insurers, Managing General Agents (MGAs), and Lloyd's syndicates.
Candidate Requirements:
- A robust background in professional indemnity and/or commercial litigation is essential, coupled with a genuine enthusiasm for the law and a commitment to providing exceptional client service.
- Experience within the professional indemnity insurance sector is preferred but not mandatory.
- Experience should ideally be gained in private practice (preferably at a large regional or City law firm) or alternatively in-house with a significant insurer or MGA.
