Key Responsibilities:

In this vital role, you will play a significant part in assembling meal kits for our clientele. Your contributions will be essential in ensuring the smooth flow of incoming and outgoing products while adhering to Health & Safety and Food Safety protocols. You will utilize material handling equipment (MHE) to assist with stock transfers, support inventory control, and enhance the overall effectiveness of our operations.

  • Maintain compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety regulations, actively collaborating with HelloFresh on all health and safety matters. You are accountable for your own health, safety, and well-being during your tasks. Promptly report any incidents and raise health and safety concerns with your Line Manager.
  • Engage in basic problem-solving tasks and escalate issues to the shift team when necessary.
  • Ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions.
  • Clear any jams or blockages in automated machinery.
  • Assist with general warehouse tasks, including restocking cartons in box erectors and lidding machines.
  • Uphold cleanliness and organization within the warehouse, encompassing workstations, storage areas, and equipment.
  • Participate in ad hoc projects as required.
  • Conduct routine maintenance checks on equipment and report any malfunctions to the Warehouse Team Leader.
  • Ensure compliance with PPE and personal & food hygiene standards.
  • Perform any other reasonable duties as part of this role.

Candidate Profile:

  • Demonstrated experience in a warehouse or similar setting, ideally within the food sector.
  • GCSE qualifications in Maths & English.
  • MHE License is desirable.
  • Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems.
  • Understanding of health and safety regulations pertinent to warehouse operations.
  • Proficient in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (relevant certification is advantageous).
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A proactive attitude with the flexibility to adapt to business needs.
