Job Title: Property Claims Handler

Salary: £24,000 - £30,000
We are seeking an experienced Property Claims Handler to join our team in Glasgow. As a Property Claims Handler, you will be responsible for handling a portfolio of property and liability claims for clients in the UK and Europe.
About the Role:
- Review and resolve customer claims within authorised limits, ensuring satisfaction for both the customer and the business.
- Take ownership of claims from initial contact through to conclusion, including negotiation, decision-making, and excellent customer service.
- Build meaningful relationships with clients and colleagues, ensuring all stakeholders are kept up to date regularly.
- Deliver a focused claims service, ensuring a world-class customer experience.
- Produce and issue basic documents/reports in compliance with professional standards.
- Identify and resolve potential fraud, repudiation, and voidance.
- Ensure invoices raised are accurate and timely.
- Work closely with adjusters where appropriate.
- Attend client review meetings.
About You:
- Property claims handling experience with an insurer or loss adjuster.
- Good customer service, confident, and professional manner when dealing with clients.
- Keen to work towards insurance qualifications such as CILA or Cert CII.
