About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Call Centre Administrator to join our team at Sheffield Children's NHS Foundation Trust. As a Call Centre Administrator, you will be the first point of contact for the transfer of critically ill babies and children, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality customer service to patients, families, and healthcare professionals via phone and other communication channels.
  • Manage and respond to incoming calls, emails, and other inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
  • Process and manage patient information, including medical records and transfer requests.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless patient transfers and provide support as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, reports, and databases to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective solutions to improve customer service, efficiency, and productivity.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 3 GCSEs or equivalent, including English and Maths at level A-C.
  • Relevant administration or customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
