GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and passionate Humanities Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational community, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons and providing a supportive learning environment for students.
Key Responsibilities- Lesson Planning and Delivery: Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, utilizing a range of teaching methods and resources.
- Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organized and inclusive classroom environment, promoting positive relationships and behavior among students.
- Assessment and Feedback: Regularly assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and guidance to support their academic growth.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive and supportive educational experience.
- Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance teaching skills and stay up-to-date with best practices in education.
- Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) through a PGCE, B.Ed. with QTS, or equivalent.
- Experience: Possess experience in teaching Humanities, with a strong understanding of curriculum requirements and educational standards.
- DBS Check: Hold a valid child-only Enhanced DBS on the Update service or be willing to obtain one through GSL Education.
