About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled PHP Architect to join our expanding team and contribute to the development of highly scalable services.

As a PHP Architect, you will work closely with the Technical Team under the guidance of a Senior Architect, providing opportunities for growth and development in your architecture experience.

You will be responsible for designing and evolving our technical architecture to best support current and predicted business needs, managing architectural risk, and promoting new technologies to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and evolve our technical architecture to meet business needs.
  • Manage architectural risk and promote new technologies.
  • Help identify new opportunities and improvements to our existing code base.
  • Plan and implement code and infrastructure projects.
  • Champion Quality Assurance during the development cycle.
Requirements
  • Experience in software development and database architecture.
  • Ability to see the big picture when working with complex applications and data models.
  • Understanding of data flows involving multiple applications and microservices.
  • DevOps mindset with knowledge of Cloud Computing concepts and Infrastructure as Code.
  • Experience building and integrating APIs.
  • Ability to write high-quality, SOLID code with consideration for security, performance, resilience, scalability, and re-use.
  • Comfortable writing automated tests for code.
  • Proficiency in Linux command-line and high standards for working with production systems.
  • Proactive, motivated, and highly organized with strong time management and planning skills.
