Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Data & Business Intelligence Analyst to support our client's data-driven transformation project. This role is crucial in helping redesign and streamline reporting and automation processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Support & Collaboration: Assist the current Data & Business Intelligence Analyst by taking on additional data-related tasks, helping to manage the workload effectively.
- Business Intelligence Dashboard Development: Design, build, and maintain business intelligence dashboards that provide actionable insights for various stakeholders.
- Excel Data Sheets Optimization: Redesign and streamline large Excel data sheets to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Data Modelling: Develop and implement data models that support the organization's reporting and automation needs.
- System Integration & Testing: Work closely with systems accountants to integrate tools and systems, ensuring accurate data flow.
- Data Management: Write and optimize stored procedures, manage SQL Server databases, and ensure data integrity across platforms.
Required Qualifications:
- Advanced Coding Skills: Expertise in T-SQL coding, with a proven track record of building robust data solutions.
- SQL Proficiency: Strong experience with SQL Server Management Studio, SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS), and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS).
- Excel Mastery: Expert-level skills in Excel, particularly in handling and streamlining large datasets.
- Accounting Knowledge: Solid understanding of accounting principles to effectively support financial data management and reporting.
Desired Skills:
- Visual Studio or Azure DevOps: Proficiency in using these tools to enhance development and deployment processes.
- Power BI: Understanding of Power BI for creating dynamic visualizations and reports.
- Financial Modeling: Experience in creating financial models to support business decision-making.
Professional Experience:
- Demonstrated experience in coding with T-SQL and managing SQL Server environments.
- Strong track record in developing and maintaining business intelligence dashboards and Excel-based data solutions.
- Prior experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable.
