We are seeking a highly skilled System Reliability Engineer to join our team at Ampa - Legal & Professional Services. As a key member of our infrastructure delivery team, you will play a critical role in maintaining, supporting, and monitoring our existing infrastructure, including servers, storage, networks, data, and applications.
Key Responsibilities- Infrastructure Stability: Ensure the ongoing stability and availability of our systems, monitoring, maintaining, and supporting systems and software to ensure stability and compliance to technology standards.
- System Maintenance: Perform maintenance, including installation of patches and upgrades, with an understanding of the production environment and continuous availability targets.
- Incident Management: Full accountability of allocated project actions, technical problems & incidents, event detection, resolution, and/or escalation – conducts root cause analysis and remediation as required.
- System Insights: Monitors systems availability, performance, capacity, and trend against baseline metrics, and develops in-depth knowledge of supported systems and applications and transfers knowledge to more junior staff.
- Security and Compliance: Vulnerability management by assessing security status and applying mitigation solutions, and ensures technical documents and policies are up to date and accurate and adhered to.
- Experience: 5+ years of hands-on experience working as part of an infrastructure delivery team.
- Change Management: Change management experience, with the ability to quickly arbitrate, prioritise, and filter change/deployment issues to identify solutions.
- Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to describe complex technical concepts/issues with non-technical stakeholders.
