Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to join our team at our New London, NH facility. As a Physical Therapist, you will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and administering physical therapy modalities of treatment in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer treatments and occupational agents as prescribed by a referring physician to restore function and prevent disability.
  • Assist patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
  • Observe and evaluate treatment effect, recommending changes to the physician as needed.
  • Perform an appropriate evaluation and assessment on each patient, reassessing as per policy.
  • Formulate a teaching plan based on identified learning needs and evaluate its effectiveness.
  • Treat patients and their families with respect and dignity, identifying and addressing psychosocial, cultural, ethnic, and religious/spiritual needs.
  • Manage and operate equipment safely and correctly, maintaining department cleanliness and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with physicians, staff, and administrative team, directing Physical Therapy Department staff as needed.
  • Maintain records pertinent to personnel and department operations, meeting current clinical documentation standards and policies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Physical Therapy.
  • Valid license to practice in the state of New Hampshire.
  • Any of the following valid licenses/certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) or American Red Cross Basic Life Support (ARCBLS).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Outpatient rehabilitation care experience (1 year).
Work Environment

This position is based in our New London, NH facility, with days spent in the clinic on the main campus.
