Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Technologist to join our Medical Equipment Management team at the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing medical equipment management services to a range of NHS and other customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide faultfinding, repairing, and preventive maintenance services for medical equipment in critical care units, theatres, general wards, and community sites.
  • Assist with the investigation of medical equipment-related incidents and problem-solving in the clinical environment.
  • Work effectively within a team to ensure the day-to-day running of the service.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Requirements
  • SCQF level 9 qualification in an electronics or medical engineering discipline, or equivalent training and experience.
  • Experience of working within an electronic servicing role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and methodically in a fast-paced environment.
