Job Title: Civil Engineer

Mech Tech Professionals is seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to support the HR Civils Team Lead. As part of a team, the successful candidate will be responsible for modifying and adapting design received from the Back Office, substantiating the adapted design of the HR Building reinforced concrete structures.

Main Responsibilities
  • Modifying reinforced concrete structure designs compliant with ETC-C and other relevant codes.
  • Maintaining QA procedures in delivering the CW design.
  • Working with CAD designers in the preparation of design drawings/models.
  • Managing engineering changes in line with company procedures.
  • Liaising with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Engineer with a minimum of 5 years' experience.
  • Experience in Nuclear civil work or complex structures.
  • Experience in design of concrete and metallic structures.
  • Experience in detailed design or conceptual design in an office or on a civil construction site.
  • Experience on projects dealing with material interfaces.
Desirable Skills
  • Experience with on-site design support.
  • Experience on wide projects.
Software and Tools
  • TEKLA.
  • PDMS.
Language(s)
  • Fluent English, French advantageous.
