About Us:

Teledyne UK Limited is a leading manufacturer of carbon/glass fibre composite parts and assemblies for the aerospace and defence industries.

Job Purpose:

This role involves machining aircraft components by reading and working from engineering drawings, utilizing advanced machining technology and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading and unloading machining fixtures
  • Setting up and operating five-axis and three-axis machines
  • Using measuring equipment such as micrometers, Vernier calipers, plug gauges, screw gauges, and ring gauges
  • Performing regular maintenance and cleaning of machines and tools
  • Understanding CNC programming and geometric tolerances
  • Experience with Fanuc controllers is beneficial

Requirements:

  • Prior experience using CNC machines
  • Experience working to ISO 9001 or AS/EN 9100 quality approvals
  • Experience in the aerospace, defence, or automotive sector
