Finance Manager Job Description

KennedyPearce Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join our team on a 12-month contract. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in driving commercial growth and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to commercial strategy development and implementation, working closely with sales and marketing teams.
  • Collaborate with the country manager to analyze and optimize commercial spend, including trade spend and marketing.
  • Prepare and support the organization in creating financial forecasts and business plans.
  • Support the sales director in pricing decisions and ensure accurate and timely payments.
  • Coordinate and process monthly payroll for the UK and Ireland entities.
  • Review daily bookkeeping, monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing of accounts, and statutory reporting.
  • Manage VAT returns, Intrastat, EC Sales List/VIES reporting, and Sugar Tax reporting.
  • Responsible for annual statutory audit and financial statement preparation under IFRS.
  • Oversee accounts receivable and accounts payable, and review balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Assist with reporting and invoicing queries within all systems.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Accountant (ACCA, ACA) with 3+ years post-qualification experience.
  • Strong commercial awareness and numerical skills.
  • Ability to challenge the status quo and drive improvement through change.
