Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Civil & Structural Design Engineer to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering innovative engineering solutions across various infrastructure projects within the oil, gas, petrochemical, and power sectors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive engineering designs for civil and structural infrastructure projects, adhering to Eurocodes standards.
  • Conduct detailed design calculations and analyses for both superstructures and foundations.
  • Prepare clear and concise technical reports, design sketches, and layouts.
  • Perform on-site inspections to assess existing structures and identify potential issues.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure integrated engineering solutions are delivered effectively.
  • Supervise junior engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
  • Act as a lead engineer, liaising with clients and stakeholders on single-discipline projects.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in industry-standard software such as StaadPro, Tekla Building Designer, Tekla Tedds, and Navisworks.
  • Strong understanding of CDM regulations and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree (BEng Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Chartered membership with IStructE or ICE, or actively pursuing it.
Advantageous Abilities:
  • Experience in drainage design.
  • Familiarity with federated modeling software such as Navisworks.
  • Understanding of construction pricing for FEED stages, utilizing norms and vendors.
  • Ability to undertake the Principal Designer role.
