We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to join our team at Unipart Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of our warehouse operations.
Key Responsibilities- Staffing and Scheduling: Plan, manage, and adjust staffing levels to meet operational requirements, ensuring that the right people are in the right place at the right time.
- Performance Management: Ensure the operation achieves all daily, weekly, and monthly targets and KPIs, resulting in high performance levels and the efficient and effective provision of a quality service to our customers.
- Team Leadership: Manage a team of direct line reports, including delivering team member performance reviews, development, and/or succession planning as appropriate.
- Culture and Engagement: Actively promote and take responsibility for embedding a culture of employee engagement within the team.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance to Warehouse, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safe systems of work.
- Continuous Improvement: Utilize continuous improvement tools and techniques and support team members in their application.
We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager who has a proven track record of managing and leading teams, with excellent communication skills and a commitment to self-development and team development. You should have a good understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards, as well as experience of delivering excellent customer service.
