Manufacturing Operations Director

Our client, a leading UK manufacturing organization, is seeking a highly experienced and driven Manufacturing Plant Manager to take their manufacturing agenda and factory operations to the next level.
This is a high-profile role within our client's manufacturing operations, where you will be responsible for delivering multi-million unit output operations in a continuous process manufacturing environment, ensuring products are manufactured to the highest possible quality standards and produced at the lowest possible cost.
As a key member of the manufacturing team, you will be responsible for managing, motivating, and developing the factory manufacturing teams, with a focus on continuous improvement and delivering production targets against the highest health and safety, quality, environmental, and cost expectations.
The successful candidate will have excellent leadership and coaching skills, with the potential and ambition to progress into a more senior role in the future. They will also have a proven ability to develop an experienced manufacturing team to increase efficiency across the factory while surpassing customer expectations.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current Health and Safety, Environmental, and Employment Laws and best practice application of these within a manufacturing environment. They will also have the ability to analyze and interpret data to identify key trends and opportunities to increase profitability.

The remuneration package includes a competitive salary, company car, bonus, and additional benefits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, motivate, and develop the factory manufacturing teams
- Deliver production targets against the highest health and safety, quality, environmental, and cost expectations
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives across all factory operations
- Work collaboratively across all functions of the business to utilize specialist support to deliver key projects
- Develop new products to ensure our client is at the forefront of market trends and comply with all current and future environmental and sustainability developments
Requirements:
- Excellent leadership and coaching skills
- Proven ability to develop an experienced manufacturing team to increase efficiency across the factory
