Building Surveyor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Building Surveyor to join our Building Consultancy team at Lambert Smith Hampton. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for undertaking core building surveying disciplines, including project management of office fitouts, design and contract administration, dilapidations, building pathology, due diligence services, condition surveys, party wall and reinstatement cost assessments.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work in a full autonomous capacity in the Building Consultancy team, contributing towards departmental financial performance targets.
- Liaise with other LSH departments and divisions, representing the company and its range of property-related services to clients.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing expert advice to support their business goals.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous building surveying experience, with a strong understanding of building pathology, dilapidations, and condition surveys.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, and Microsoft Project, with the ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
