About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead our new regional office in Cardiff. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for establishing and growing our presence in the area.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with clients from multiple projects at various stages, providing expert advice and guidance.
  • Supervise the production of drawings in 2D and 3D design using AutoCAD/Revit, ensuring high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with design teams and clients during the design phase of projects, driving innovation and excellence.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  • Manage financial aspects of projects, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
  • Monitor progress and take a leading role in communication between clients and teams.
  • Lead and manage a team of engineers, driving growth and success.
Requirements
  • Chartered engineer with a minimum of 10+ years' experience in designing electrical systems for buildings.
  • Relevant degree in Electrical Engineering, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Excellent client skills, with the ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively.
  • Experience in managing projects with increasing management and leadership responsibilities.
  • Proficiency in software such as Amtech, AutoCAD, Revit, IES, or Dialux.
  • Passion for responding to the climate emergency and driving sustainability in the built environment.
