Job Summary

Cadent is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Gas Engineer Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of gas services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Team Leader in coordinating and executing gas infrastructure projects
  • Attend to gas leaks and perform groundwork, excavations, and reinstatements as required
  • Utilize appropriate signing, lighting, and guarding to ensure safe working practices
  • Deliver equipment and tools to designated locations
  • Participate in patrol and plant protection activities
  • Work on deep excavations up to 2.5m and participate in standby rota systems
