A leading Construction company in Northern Ireland is seeking to take on an Asbestos Surveyor / Analyst. This role would suit someone with extensive experience carrying out various surveying and analytical duties including but not limited to:

  • Management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys
  • Sampling of ACMs, ensuring to safety bag and correctly label prior to sending for analysis
  • Conducting re-inspection surveys
  • Carrying out various air monitoring duties, e.g., 4 stage clearances, leak, smoke, reassurance, background, visual, and personal air testing
  • Auditing of contractors on site

The Role:

  1. Working on a varied site base, carrying out management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys
  2. Sampling of suspected ACMs, ensuring to safety bag and correctly label prior to sending for analysis
  3. Conducting re-inspection surveys
  4. Carrying out various air monitoring duties, e.g., 4 stage clearances, leak, smoke, reassurance, background, visual, and personal air testing
  5. Auditing of contractors on site

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conducting site assessments to identify potential asbestos hazards
  • Developing and implementing asbestos management plans
  • Providing training and guidance to contractors and site staff
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards

Requirements:

  • Extensive experience working hands-on for a UKAS accredited Asbestos Consultancy
  • Strong knowledge of asbestos regulations and industry standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
