TLT LLP seeks a highly motivated and experienced Competition Law Expert to join our esteemed Competition team within our Commercial Services Group.

This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of regulatory, dispute resolution, and commercial matters, all requiring expertise in competition law.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic counsel on various antitrust matters, encompassing merger control, investigations, compliance programs, and behavioral guidance.
  • Conduct National Security and Investment Act analyses and notifications.
  • Advise on subsidy control and associated policy developments.
  • Offer tailored commercial and regulatory advice based on your expertise, with room for further development.
  • Develop new business opportunities and cultivate strong client relationships through marketing and business development initiatives.
  • Participate in competition litigation and appeal work aligned with your experience and aspirations.
  • Collaborate effectively with a cross-office team, providing guidance to junior lawyers and leading projects.
  • Actively contribute to the growth and enhancement of TLT's services both locally and nationally.
Requirements
  • Qualified Solicitor with demonstrable experience in antitrust matters.
  • Proven expertise in merger control, competition investigations, compliance programs, National Security and Investment Act, and subsidy control.
  • Experience in business development and client relationship management within a legal setting.
  • Ability to provide insightful strategic advice and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
  • Track record of team management and supervision.
