You will be joining a reputable and well-established Specialist Law Firm as their Legal Administrative Assistant on a full-time, permanent basis.
Work Environment
This position will primarily be based in the Reading office, with the flexibility to work remotely one day a week.
Team Structure
The firm comprises a total of 90 employees, with 28 operating from the Reading location.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will be tasked with supporting up to six fee-earners daily, which includes:
- Drafting and formatting legal documents
- Assisting with the monthly billing cycle, including generating and modifying billing guides, transferring time entries, and creating invoices
- Managing incoming calls for fee-earners
- Coordinating travel arrangements
- Opening new client files
- Performing general typing duties (both audio and copy typing)
- Welcoming clients and managing meeting schedules
- Overseeing diary management
Qualifications
To be eligible for this position, candidates should possess a minimum of six months of experience in a secretarial, personal assistant, or comparable role, preferably within a Legal or Professional Services context.
