Job Title: Senior Procurement Officer

Anderson Knight is seeking a Senior Procurement Officer to join our team in the public sector. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing procurement activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and contributing to the efficient and effective acquisition of goods, services, and works.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Procurement Management: Lead and manage the end-to-end procurement process, including tendering, contract management, and supplier relationships, ensuring compliance with public sector procurement regulations and best practices.
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the organisation's objectives, optimise costs, and ensure the timely delivery of goods and services.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs, provide expert advice, and ensure procurement activities support the organisation's goals.
  • Supplier Management: Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiate favorable terms and conditions, and monitor supplier performance to ensure quality and reliability.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with relevant public sector procurement regulations, policies, and guidelines.

As a Senior Procurement Officer, you will be responsible for managing the procurement process, developing procurement strategies, and ensuring compliance with regulations. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to understand their procurement needs and provide expert advice to ensure procurement activities support the organisation's goals.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of public sector procurement processes and the ability to deliver value for money. You will be a strategic thinker with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to build strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders.
