Position Overview

HGV Driver - Fixed Term Contract

Dnata Catering UK Limited is on the lookout for dedicated HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring timely delivery of our catering services and goods to our airline partners, adhering to various scheduling requirements. Your contribution is vital to our operations, allowing us to provide exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

As an HGV Class 2 Driver, your duties will encompass both airside and non-airside operations:

  • Loading and unloading catering equipment and bar sets onto 17-tonne rigid vehicles.
  • Driving in airside areas to ensure safe and punctual delivery of products to aircraft.
  • Collaborating with Cabin Crew from various airlines to facilitate the transfer of catering supplies.
  • Occasionally delivering stock to other locations across the UK.
  • Working as part of a cohesive team in a fast-paced environment focused on customer satisfaction.

Candidate Requirements

To qualify for this position, you must possess:

  • A valid UK Driving License Class 2 Cat C (with a maximum of 6 penalty points).
  • Full CPC certification.
  • A strong team-oriented mindset.
  • The ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Proficient numeracy and English communication skills.
