Job Title: Streetlighting Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Streetlighting Supervisor to join our Roads Operations and Lighting Team at Renfrewshire Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of streetlighting officers and delivering lighting improvements across Renfrewshire.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and supervise a team of streetlighting officers to maintain and improve the lighting infrastructure network.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve lighting services and reduce costs.
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure effective communication and coordination.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and procedures.
  • Deliver operational change and improvements to lighting services.
Requirements:
  • Completed Electrician Apprenticeship.
  • Scottish Power ERG 39 authorisation.
  • Electrical Industry Health & Safety qualification IEE Regulations 18th Edition.
  • Previous experience in supervising a team within frontline operational services.
  • Effective organisational, time management, communication, and teamwork skills.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work outdoors in all weather conditions throughout Renfrewshire.

Disclosure Scotland check will be required for the successful candidate.
