UK Tax Advisory Manager

Position Overview
We are looking to welcome a skilled professional to our growing team within the National Employer Solutions Department, as part of the broader People Advisory Service Group. The successful candidate will take on the role of Manager, contributing to a flexible and dynamic work environment. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver UK employment tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse client base. This role involves fostering strong relationships and assisting senior personnel in client engagements and team leadership.
- Managing all aspects of employment tax, including both advisory and compliance functions.
- Addressing various employment tax challenges such as P11D, PSA, termination payments, IR35, among others.
- Implementing employment tax projects in accordance with the firm's established procedures and quality benchmarks.
- Developing client relationships and identifying opportunities for tax planning.
- Overseeing and mentoring junior team members.
- Assisting the team in delivering presentations for both internal and external audiences.
- Exploring new business opportunities and participating in client presentations.
- Staying informed on technical developments and fulfilling continuing professional development (CPD) obligations.
Ideal Candidate Profile

- In-depth knowledge of employment tax and proficiency in managing complex tax matters.
- Ability to cultivate relationships both internally and externally to enhance the visibility of our services.
- Experience in project management and meeting critical deadlines.
- Capability to supervise and mentor junior staff members.
- Experience in managing client finances and adapting strategies according to budgetary considerations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relevant qualifications such as ATT, CTA, ACA, or substantial experience in the field.
