About the Role
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operative to join our team at Ingersoll Rand. As a key member of our warehouse team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring accurate and timely receipt of goods.
- Conduct quality checks on deliveries and update the stock control system accordingly.
- Unpack and store delivered stock items in designated areas, maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Report any discrepancies or missing stock to the Warehouse Manager, ensuring accurate inventory levels.
- Prepare and label stock items for despatch, adhering to company procedures.
- Shrink wrap and palletize goods for efficient transportation.
- Assist with the handling and dispatch of all stock, including some delivery duties.
- Administer paperwork and delivery notes, maintaining accurate records.
- Perform driving duties as required, adhering to company safety policies.
Requirements
- Valid driving license.
- FLT License desirable.
