Job Title: Area Sales Manager

We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to join our team at GCS Associates. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with our customers in the West Midlands region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the timber and hardwoods products sector
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients
  • Conduct market research and stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver excellent customer service and drive sales across all categories and branches
  • Manage a busy schedule and prioritize tasks effectively to meet sales targets
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in sales, preferably in the construction supply sector
  • Strong sales ability, margin awareness, and a customer-first attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Self-motivated and target-driven, with a willingness to learn and develop
