About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Engineer II to join our Amazon EU SARL (UK Branch) - D67 team. As a key member of our Business Intelligence (BI) team, you will be responsible for driving effective performance measurement and management, innovation, and execution in last mile delivery.

This role will involve building out analysis and visualization tools and processes to support our growing Amazon Logistics business in Europe. You will be the single point of contact for the AMXL BI Data Engineering (DE) Initiatives, managing intake, coordinating, and gathering requirements from business partners from EU7 AMXL Network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with internal stakeholders across multiple teams to gather requirements and deliver complete solutions.
  • Work with BIEs and Data Engineering teams to prioritize and define AMXL data and BI development needs.
  • Develop queries and visualizations for both ad-hoc requests and long-term projects, as well as recurrent business review reporting.
  • Own a share of admin responsibilities for the team's Analytics Solution (Redshift cluster, Quicksight account, etc.).
  • Drive key tech strategic projects for the EU AMXL team.
Requirements
  • Experience in analyzing and interpreting data with Redshift, Oracle, NoSQL, etc.
  • Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools.
  • Experience with data modeling, warehousing, and building ETL pipelines.
  • Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS, and Matlab.
  • Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modeling.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift.
  • Experience in data mining, ETL, etc., and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets.
