About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Principle Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Consultant looking to take their career to the next level with a well-established and respected consultancy. As a GeoEnvironmental Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Conducting site investigations, including ground testing, soil sampling, and data collection and analysis to identify potential environmental risks.
  • Preparing and reviewing comprehensive risk assessments, technical reports, and strategies to develop exhaustive plans of works.
  • Leading geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects from conception to completion, including contract management and team leadership.
  • Mentoring and training junior and graduate staff to ensure the development of a skilled and knowledgeable team.

Key Responsibilities

As a GeoEnvironmental Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing environmental strategies to minimize risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborating with clients to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions to meet their environmental challenges.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality consultancy services to clients.
  • Staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices to ensure the delivery of innovative and effective solutions.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in geotechnical and geoenvironmental consultancy, with a strong understanding of environmental regulations and risk assessment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of specialists.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
