About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join our team as a Senior Health Care Support Worker at Gainsborough Urgent Treatment Centre. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct physiological observations on patients of all ages
  • Apply plaster of paris and backslabs as required
  • Perform bladder scanning and venepuncture procedures
  • Provide wound closure and care, including ECG monitoring
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with the following skills and experience:

  • Basic General Secondary Education
  • NVQ 3 or equivalent relevant experience
  • Specific relevant clinical skills, including venepuncture and plaster application
  • Recent urgent care experience
  • NEWS and POPS knowledge
