About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our dynamic team in the UK. As a key member of our hydropower project team, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of cutting-edge hydropower and pumped storage hydro solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the electrical engineering design of hydropower projects, including generators, control and instrumentation systems, protection, substations, and transmission lines.
  • Perform design, model, and analyze electrical and electronic systems to ensure project feasibility and compliance with industry standards.
  • Collaborate with civil, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines to ensure a fully integrated project design.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
Requirements
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status with the IET.
  • Experience with large rotating machines (either generators or motors) is essential.
  • Specific experience of hydro and/or pumped storage hydro systems is strongly desirable but not essential.
