Position Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic team at the Butter Plant. This role provides a comprehensive training program designed to enhance your skills and facilitate career advancement within this leading UK brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate production machinery in compliance with company protocols.
- Adopt a proactive stance on Health & Safety matters.
- Collaborate with management to support statutory obligations.
- Achieve operational and waste reduction targets.
- Meet individual performance goals.
- Minimize downtime of machinery and production lines.
- Uphold hygiene standards and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
- Perform basic routine maintenance; mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Ensure product quality, reporting any issues to management.
- Conduct prompt troubleshooting and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain flexibility in work arrangements.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Relevant qualifications in food manufacturing.
- Basic Food Hygiene certification.
- Health & Safety training.
- Knowledge of chemical handling.
- Experience with mechanical handling equipment.
- Understanding of technical processing plants and machinery.
- Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
