About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Embedded Software Engineer to join our team at Arden White. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing C-code software for engine management systems (EMS) and possibly transmission control systems (TCS).

You will work closely with our team to design, develop, and test software for new functionalities, and ensure that it meets the required standards and specifications. Your expertise in powertrain controls strategies and C-code development for EMS or similar systems will be invaluable in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement C-code software for engine management systems (EMS) and possibly transmission control systems (TCS).
  • Test, calibrate, and implement software for new functionalities.
  • Vehicle and engine controls system development in line with company or customer processes.
  • Conduct off-site testing and participate in climatic test trips as needed.
  • Create control algorithm specifications and modify calibration procedures for new algorithms.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree/HNC or relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of automotive legislative requirements.
  • Deep knowledge of powertrain controls strategies and C-code development for EMS or similar systems.
