Berkmann Wine Cellars is a leading family-owned and family-run wine importer in the UK, with a rich history dating back to 1964. Our expertise has grown alongside our portfolio, representing some of the world's most renowned wine brands.

The Role

This unique position will provide in-house design talent to support the creation of credible consumer-recognized brands for Berkmann Wine Cellars and Spirit Cartel. As a key member of the Design Team based in London, you will work closely with the Head of Design to support the Marketing and NPD project team in the visual aspects of bringing a brand to market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement branding and packaging strategies for luxury wine and spirits brands
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and NPD project team to create visually appealing marketing materials and communication tools
  • Work with the Head of Design to develop brand hierarchies, pack designs, and marketing materials
  • Stay up-to-date with consumer trends and technical knowledge of packaging-based print
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign to create high-quality designs

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering outstanding work with a big agency background and at least 5 years' experience in branding and packaging
  • Strong portfolio showcasing expertise in branding, layout, and typography
  • Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
  • Strong understanding of luxury branding and packaging principles
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams
