Maintenance Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Kepak Group. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant and equipment, working closely with production managers, supervisors, and line leaders to achieve this goal.
Key Responsibilities- Preventative Maintenance: Carry out regular preventative maintenance tasks on a wide range of plant and manufacturing machinery to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshooting and Repair: Identify and resolve electrical and mechanical issues on production lines and equipment, working closely with equipment suppliers to resolve complex problems.
- Technical Support: Provide technical assistance to production teams and other stakeholders as needed, ensuring that all maintenance activities are carried out safely and efficiently.
- Maintenance Planning: Assist in developing and implementing preventative and predictive maintenance routines to minimize equipment downtime and optimize production efficiency.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with production managers, supervisors, and line leaders to ensure that maintenance activities are aligned with production goals and objectives.
- Trades Qualification: ONC or equivalent qualification in a relevant trade, such as electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Experience: Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a food production or manufacturing environment.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team, and basic computer skills.
