Join our team at GlaxoSmithKline as a Device Engineering Industrial Placement student and contribute to the development of innovative medical devices. As a member of our Device Engineering team, you will work on designing, developing, and testing medical devices that meet the needs of patients and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Work with device development experts to develop, model, and understand the performance of drug delivery devices.
- Contribute to the development of robust, patient-centric devices that meet regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to ensure successful project delivery.
- Currently studying an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Human Factors Engineering, or a similar discipline.
- Completed a minimum of 2 years of undergraduate studies but not graduated at the start of the placement.
- Enrolled at a UK or ROI university for the duration of the placement.
- Written and spoken fluency in English.
- A competitive salary of £24,700 plus a bonus.
