About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate MLD Teacher to join our team at Protocol Education. As a SEN Specialist School, we provide a supportive and enriching environment for students with moderate learning difficulties (MLD) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement creative and differentiated lesson plans that cater to the individual needs of students with MLD and PMLD.
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive classroom environment where students feel safe, valued, and motivated to achieve their best.
  • Collaborate closely with parents, carers, and external agencies to provide a holistic approach to each student's development.
  • Continuously assess student progress, adjusting teaching strategies to ensure ongoing growth and success.
  • Contribute to the school community by participating in professional development and supporting colleagues in our shared mission.

Requirements
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in teaching students with MLD, PMLD, or SEN.
  • A deep understanding of approaches to support children with moderate to profound learning difficulties.
  • Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to the personal and academic growth of every child.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
