Sanctuary Group is seeking a skilled Multi-Trade Operative to join their Voids team in Swindon. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties within social housing to bring properties up to letting standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Attending properties to carry out construction, fault fixing, and maintenance duties
  • Resolving problems or setting into motion the means of resolution, ensuring customers are kept informed
  • Maintaining a suitable van stock level and restocking when needed
  • Providing accurate and timely information on the progress of works
  • Providing out of hours cover via a call out rota

Requirements:

  • Qualified to or undertaking NVQ Level 2 in a core subject (carpentry, electrical, or plumbing)
  • Recent experience of undertaking a similar role within social housing is advantageous
  • Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise tasks
  • Additional skills in plumbing, carpentry, and plastering would be advantageous
  • Working knowledge of health and safety regulations
  • Full valid UK driving licence
