Management Accountant Opportunity

A leading Christian charity in Oxfordshire is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their finance team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for producing and presenting high-quality financial information, managing payroll, and line managing a finance assistant.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Produce accurate and timely reports, including monthly management accounts, highlighting critical issues or potential problems to senior management.
  • Develop cost and analysis models, and perform month-end processing and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to business managers, and assist in the production of year-end accounts and VAT returns.
  • Ensure the integrity of financial record-keeping and reporting systems, including preparation of monthly journals and correcting mis-postings.
  • Work with the People team to prepare payroll on a monthly basis, provide pension information to the pension provider, and deal with queries.
Requirements:
  • ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent qualification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of producing high-quality financial information.
