About the Role

A highly skilled Project Civil Design Engineer with extensive experience in below ground drainage and standard road design is required by Aldwych Consulting Ltd in Central London.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop drainage networks using WinDES and Microdrainage software
  • Prepare flood risk assessments and drainage strategies
  • Conduct highway layouts and alignments using AutoCAD and Autotrack
  • Develop adoption designs and drawings for highways and drainage
  • Design and implement SuDS systems
  • Prepare and check project design and assessment calculations, drawings, reports, and contract documents
  • Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and engineers
  • Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, environmental, and managerial procedures
Requirements
  • 3-4 years' experience in highways and drainage works in the UK
  • Competent in storm and foul water drainage network design
  • Conversant with highway layouts and alignments
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Autotrack, and Civil 3D
  • Experience in preparing and checking project design and assessment calculations, drawings, reports, and contract documents
  • Able to work towards Chartership with a relevant professional body
