Role Overview:

This position involves providing essential financial support to our Production Team, which includes:

  • Issuing Purchase Orders through the SAP system as necessary.
  • Ensuring proper coding and authorization of Vendor Invoices for timely payments.
  • Collaborating with Accounts Payable to resolve Vendor inquiries and issues.
  • Managing and reconciling Production Pre-Paid Cards while maintaining stringent controls over expenses.
  • Overseeing expenditure on Production Credit Cards and ensuring accurate reconciliation.
  • Handling Travel & Expense claims for relevant personnel using the Concur system.
  • Generating Client Invoices through the Stadium system.
  • Assisting Production Managers with monthly Actual Cost Reporting, analyzing variances against Budget.
  • Conducting proactive analysis of Production spending and revenue, identifying potential discrepancies.
  • Ensuring accurate recharging of Production Staff costs to the appropriate Projects monthly.
  • Addressing any other finance-related matters pertaining to production as needed.
  • Coordinating with accounting personnel across departments on the aforementioned tasks.

Working Conditions:

This role requires flexibility and adaptability, as you will be part of a dynamic team that occasionally works irregular hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining up-to-date Cost Trackers.
  • Understanding and monitoring Client Project expenditures.
  • Ensuring timely reconciliation of Expenses.
  • Processing Invoices promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a finance role within a media-related environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Strong numerical aptitude.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks.
  • A minimum of A level education or equivalent qualifications.
  • A genuine interest in Television Production and a commitment to pursuing a career in the industry.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills for daily tasks.
  • Capability to work independently.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with the Television Production industry.
  • Practical experience with the SAP Accounting system.
  • Experience working with interconnected spreadsheets.
  • A degree in Finance or a related field.
  • Currently pursuing a recognized Accounting Qualification.
